Recently, I, with my husband and daughter, took a trip to Utah to see family and friends we haven't seen in a few years. I didn't realize how much I missed and love Utah. Here's a short and raw poem about my love for Utah.

Things don't always turn out the way you hoped. I hoped to live in our house in Missouri for a long time and to turn it into our dream. And even though we have pivoted and found new dreams, I still mourn that life.

Let's add a little more context about where I have been, you know, like the title says, the big two-year update.

The last two years? I don't even know where to start. The last couple years are a blur, even though they have been some of the most profound, heart-wrenching, crazy, impacting, and even beautiful years in our almost 14 years of marriage.
