Sometimes I think I have nothing to share. There doesn't seem to be much going on. We do a lot of the same things day in and day out. But in truth, there's a lot going on. Those small things we do each day lead to bigger things we are working toward. They seem like nothing at the time, but when I look back at everything, I see great progress.

Ever since Berkley was born I find very little time to read. This is very different than how things used to be. I devoured books, at least I thought I did, at least good books. Now, I am lucky if I'm able to crack open a book at all in a day.

Have you ever thanked God for your life? He created you. He molded you into who you are. He sent you here to experience life. It's hard, yes. It can be disappointing and frustrating and painful. But it is, in it's entirety, beautiful.

College. That's when I had my first yoga experience. I walked into a room full of people. Full. It was a large room full of people. I don't know what I was expecting, but not this. Were this many people interested in yoga?

The biggest reason I started blogging again and then started the podcast was because I felt prompted to start--over the course of months actually. I felt Heavenly Father leading me to start creating content again, but I put it off. I didn't know what I really wanted to do with it, what I wanted to write.

Do you ever wonder why some people decide to have bigger families and others have smaller ones? I think we all wonder about other people's circumstances and choices. And, for the most part, I don't think we're bing judgmental; we're just curious about other people's life circumstances, experiences, and decisions that create the situations they have.

There are so many things to consider: selling our current house and getting it ready to sell, making sure Scott has a job lined up wherever we go, having the money to move (so expensive), getting a new house (probably renting), making sure we are close to playgrounds and other activities for Berkley.... It's a lot to do and consider. It's overwhelming.

Last week I finished editing my book--the book I've been working on for probably close to 10 years. Maybe longer. Who knows? This book has gone through some huge changes and growing pains. It's a story that has always been there, in my brain and heart, but it's been hard to get out.

Creativity is a deeply-rooted part of our being. It's up to us to discover what or how we like to create and then create. And also figure out what is keeping us from creating.

A long time ago, before Scott fell in love with me and showed me who I really am, I thought I was not pretty, unattractive, and undesirable. I have struggled with confidence since I was a kid for many reasons. A lot of it had to do with how I let friends treat me and how I let other people's words affect me. All of that affected how I perceived myself and how I presented myself to others.

I have never been very good at setting New Year resolutions/goals. When I thought about today's post, 2026 resolutions for the year came to mind and it felt good and important to do.

Since ending the KreatNou Podcast, also known as The Comte Creative Podcast, a few years ago, I have missed the podcast medium of connection, sharing, and discovery. So here I am, finally giving into that little voice telling me to just do it.

Finally I was pregnant! After years of trying and waiting and hoping, after all the disappointment and hopes dashed, we were having a baby.

I don't know how many of our friends and even blog readers know my story--of infertility, heartache, waiting, longing, and then a huge miracle. This is part one of the story of my miracle baby.

One thing that helped me get through the mess of life and see the miracles forming in front of my eyes was gratitude journaling. Something as simple as writing down things I was grateful for, no matter how small, helped me see light when I felt surrounded by darkness.

Writing has always been my dream. I've come back to it again and again throughout the years, but I have let life get in the way of truly pursuing that dream. Let's get into the story, shall we?

The infected got through. I don't know what to do. The infected got through and I grabbed Asher and ran, leaving our packs, all our stuff. Jonathon followed us. We crawled up the folded bleachers and through a window that leads to the announcers box. We're crouched low.

The company dad went to get supplies with came back today. Dad wasn't with them. I didn't want to know why, but I had to know why. Asher asked. One of the guys took us aside and told us the infected got him. He was attacked inside a grocery store. He went into a back room and met 6 infected. There was nothing they could do, the man said. Nothing. I get it. I still think about what happened to mom.

Food poisoning, EVERYONE got it, and it was all my fault! I was helping out in the kitchens again toady, of course. A few guys brought in a bunch of chickens. I'm not sure where they got them, but the guys were excited. The chickens were already dead so we just had to de-feather, cut up, and cook.
