"Someone's Making These, and Someone's Making Money." - Interview with Samantha Comte

Samantha is a surface pattern designer, a mom of four, and my sister-in-law (our husbands are brothers). It was while in school Samantha discovered a passion for graphic design, which led her to a career in digital design for various companies and freelancing, specializing in branding for small businesses.

Her fascination with surface pattern design later led her to explore this different side of design. She took a surface design immersion course in 2020 and has since dedicated herself to the art of creating repeating patterns for products.

It was so fun to sit down with Samantha. We talked all about her creative journey and what she loves about her work. Samantha shared her experiences and struggles, how she finds joy working with clients, her thoughts on why creativity and pursuing your dream is so important, and so much more.
