4 Super Easy Desserts to Celebrate National Dessert Day

That’s right, it’s a day all about desserts, as if you needed an excuse to eat one, or two, or three.

I’m all about the yummy desserts. I love the sweetness of baked goods. Mmm. That sugary or chocolaty, or even salty, goodness in the mouth. My mouth is truly watering right now. And Baby Comte might be feeling some of those cravings too.

4 easy desserts

To help you celebrate, I have curated my favorite four super easy desserts. Easy because you may have just found out about this wonderful holiday (October 14), and hopefully you have some of these ingredients in your pantry.

4 Super Easy Desserts

Easy Pumpkin Cookies

Ingredients

1 Box Spice Cake Mix

1 15-oz Can Pumpkin

Chocolate Chips (Measure to Satisfy Craving)

Directions

Mix, by hand, cake mix and pumpkin in small bowl until well combined. When no more lumps and mixture is smooth, stir in chocolate chips.

Bake for approximately 10 minutes.

Enjoy!

Tips and Ideas

Chocolate Chips: I use dark chocolate 'cause I like it bitter, but feel free to use semi-sweet or milk chocolate or white, or a combination of any.

Keep Fresh: Place in bowl or on plate and cover with towel or cloth. This will keep them fresh. Putting in a bag or air-tight container will make them gooey.
